Ancient City Education Society | Logo Design
Design Concept
This logo is designed for a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged students in St. Johns County. Ancient City Education Society’s (A.C.E.S.) mission is to fund students first year of college and provide ongoing guidance to ensure their continued success throughout their college careers.
Design Problem
To raise awareness and gather support for the foundation, which funds college-bound students, there was a challenge. One issue was avoiding the term “aces” due to its gambling connotations; instead, it needed to convey a positive and endearing message. To address this concern, a crest was designed, and a selective color palette was chosen to effectively portray the mission of the Ancient City Education Society in a professional and impactful manner.
Design Solution
To effectively communicate the mission of the Ancient City Education Society, the logo design was developed to symbolize hope and empowerment for underprivileged students. The design avoids the gambling connotations of “aces” and instead focuses on a positive, supportive message. The logo features a thoughtfully crafted crest and a selective color palette that represents the foundation’s dedication to helping students realize their potential and pursue their passions with less financial stress. This approach ensures the A.C.E.S. logo conveys the idea that these students are the “ace in the hole,” which in turn enables them to believe they can overcome challenges and achieve success!
